Our story

Hold the gluten, not yourself back.

Hold the Gluten started with a simple idea: gluten-free travel shouldn’t mean holding back on the adventure.

After navigating the world with celiac disease, I quickly learned that traveling gluten-free comes with its own set of challenges. From researching restaurants and deciphering menus to worrying about cross-contact in places where you don’t speak the language, food can sometimes feel like the hardest part of the journey.

But I never wanted gluten to decide where I could go.

Hold the Gluten was created to make gluten-free travel feel less overwhelming and a lot more possible. It’s a place for practical tips, honest travel experiences, and resources to help you feel confident exploring the world while staying safely gluten-free.

Because having celiac doesn’t mean you have to stay home. You can still chase the sunsets, try new foods, get lost in new places, and say yes to the adventure.

The world is waiting. Hold the gluten, not yourself back.
